DILG News: DILG 12 Personnel undergo Values Reorientation Seminar

DILG 12 conducted a Values Reorientation Seminar for its Regional Office personnel on April 24, 2013 at the DILG 12 Conference Room, Koronadal City. Said activity was made possible in the interest of furtherance in personnel welfare and development. It also aimed to refresh and remind the personnel of the provisions of Republic Act 6713, otherwise known as Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public officials and Employees.

OIC Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESE formally opened the activity. “Our commitment and dedication to public service is reflected in how we present ourselves from wearing the prescribed uniform and ID, to coming to work on time and fulfilling the required number of working hours and being productive during office hours,” he said. He also added that “through discipline, a deed becomes a habit and a habit becomes a lifestyle”.

Director Teresita R. Antolin of Civil Service Commission – Cotabato City served as the lecturer. She encouraged active participation through exercises and an open forum.

DILG 12 Personnel Officer, Muhammad G. Nanding, Jr. said that “the activity is merely a refresher and a reminder of all things dictated by duty but have been forgotten or maybe unintentionally neglected and that it should be viewed as a chance to be better public servants”.
